Spotted Flycatcher on the Cliff

9 Sep

I finally managed to get some reasonable photo’s of a Spotted Flycatcher on the Cliff earlier today.

It’s a little brown job (LBJ) but its behavior is quite distinctive – it perches out on top of bushes, brambles etc – even telegraph wires – and pops back and forth catching insects. Quite different from say a warbler or finch.
