What’s in your back garden?

11 Mar

Living in a rural village it’s quite amazing what can be seen in the back garden.

To illustrate the point (no pun intended) Nick Holland has very kindly allowed me to add some photographs he has taken in his back garden at the edge of the village – it shows what can be achieved with patience, the right camera equipment and, most importantly, someone who knows what they are doing!!

Hopefully Nick will share more of his excellent work and inspire you to keep an eye out as to what’s in your back garden!!

While preparing Nick’s photo’s I came across an interesting fact (at least to me) – there are no Woodpeckers in Ireland!!

If anyone has unusual visitors to their Sherston garden, let me know and I will try and capture it on film (actually, memory card!)
